破いてつくる虎柄の年賀状
株式会社T3デザインのためにデザインした2022年の年賀状です。
昨今の世界状況によりコミュニケーションが希薄になりつつある中なので、感情が動いたり、コミュニケーションが生まれる年賀状が作りたいと考えました。
仕組みは、サイドの切れ込みから破くとトラ柄のポストカードになるというシンプルなもの。破くという簡単な動作から生まれるアートだからこそ、誰もが楽しむことができます。1枚1枚破き方によって表情はそれぞれ、唯一無二のトラ柄になります。
おそらくこのポストカードが届いた人はまず「？」と思い、やがて「！」へと気持ちが変化します。届いた人の周りで話題になったり、差出人との話のタネになる、そんな年賀状になっていれば本望です。
Tiger-patterned New Year's card made by tearing.
This is a New Year's card for the year 2022 designed for T3 Design, Inc.
With communication becoming less and less common due to the recent world situation, we wanted to create a New Year's greeting card that would move emotions and generate communication.
The mechanism is simple: tear the card from the side slit, and it becomes a tiger-patterned postcard. Each card has its own expression depending on how it is torn, creating a unique tiger pattern.
The person who receives this postcard will probably first think, "What is it?” but at the moment, "I see!” that they suddenly will understand. It is our hope that this New Year's greeting card will become a topic of conversation around the recipient or a topic of conversation with the sender.
物を「破く」という本能的な気持ちよさに起因するのは、ビリビリという音に他なりません。このビリビリと破いていく快感、楽しさをリズムに乗せ、ひとつの短い映像にしました。
この年賀状からは一つとして同じ模様はできないように、同じビリビリも二度と体験することはできないでしょう。
一期一会のビリビリ体験を、ほんの少しお裾分け。
The instinctive feeling of "tearing something" is caused by nothing other than the sound of it tearing, we call it Biribiri in Japanese. We put this pleasant sensation of tearing to a rhythm and made it into one short video.
Just as no two New Year's cards will ever have the same pattern, you will not also ever experience the same Biribiri again.
We would like to share a little bit of this once-in-a-lifetime experience with you.
